I spent 18 years as founder and president of 2 major Singles clubs, attended many others, tried dating services, and I did my time in the Singles bars. I met thousands of people, saw and tried every possible concept/gimmick introduced to help Singles meet that "special" person. Karen was a professional at a well known fast food company and traveled the world directing new international franchise openings. She had lots of friends, met scores of eligible people through work and socially, had plenty of proposals (over 25), but hadn't found anyone in over 10 years.
